Fireworks Writer Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 5, 2026

Fireworks Writer is an app by UltraRanger Labs (Roger Vallejo Balbuena, Spain) where you write and draw with fireworks over a night sky and save it as a video or a GIF to share. This policy explains what data it uses and where that data stays.

Everything stays on your phone

What you write, what you draw, the background you choose and the videos and GIFs you record are made and kept only on your phone. We have no servers that receive them, we cannot see them, and we do not send them to anyone. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes what the app keeps; the videos and GIFs you saved to your gallery stay there until you delete them.

No accounts, no ads, no analytics

Fireworks Writer does not ask you to sign up, shows no ads, and uses no tracking or analytics tools.

Your own photo as the background

If you choose a photo of yours as the sky, you pick it with your phone's own picker, and the app only sees the photo you choose. It keeps a smaller copy inside the app so the background is still there next time. That copy never leaves your phone.

Saving and sharing

When you save a recording, it goes to your phone's gallery (videos in Movies, GIFs in Pictures, in a Fireworks Writer folder). When you share it, you are the one sending it to the app you choose (WhatsApp, Instagram...), and that app's own policy applies there. The text that goes with it says it was made with Fireworks Writer and carries the app's link on Google Play.

Removing the watermark

If you buy Remove the watermark, the purchase is made by Google Play with your Google account: we never see your card or payment details. To know whether you bought it, the app asks Google Play on your phone; we do not use any other company or server for it. Your Google purchases are managed in your Google account.

Permissions

Fireworks Writer asks for no permissions. It does not use the microphone, the camera or your location: the sound in your videos is the sound of the fireworks themselves.

Android backup

If you have it turned on, Android may save the app's data to your Google account, encrypted, to restore it on another phone. Google does this according to your settings; we have no access to that backup.

Children

Fireworks Writer is for people aged 13 and over and is not directed at anyone younger.

Your rights

What you make in Fireworks Writer is on your phone, not on our servers, so you delete it by clearing the app's data and removing the recordings from your gallery. If you have any question about your data, write to us. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or the authority in your country.

Changes

If the app starts handling data differently, we will update this page and the date above before releasing that version.
